I’m a Tulsan born and raised. After graduating from TSAS in 2016 I was hard at work improving my craft by playing in jazz bands, wedding bands, and fusion bands in northeastern Oklahoma. In 2024, I came back to TSAS to help rebuild the jazz program from scratch. I’m thrilled to be part of a new era of music at TSAS!
I do this because I believe instilling a love for the arts is vital to the growth of a thriving community. I do this work to help people understand why they like the music that they do, and how that music is tied to its roots.

My husband and daughter are my world. My dogs are pretty cool too! I enjoy cooking but I never use recipes. Measurements come from the soul. It’s so important to know your community. It always takes a village.

I enjoy traveling, specifically road trips. I’ve been to 34 of the 50 states but I haven’t traveled abroad, yet! I live in a skoolie with my partner Blake, our cat Frank, our pup Mammoth and our hens.
I teach because Photography allows people to have a voice and express their thoughts, feelings and perspectives in a visual way that fuses Art and Science. It documents time, stories, and opens the door to witness other voices. I teach because I want our students to see that potential and their voices to be heard.
