What is TSAS?
TSAS is a highly innovative, relational charter school that serves students grades 6-12. We were founded in 2001 as the first charter school for secondary students in Tulsa. TSAS is a public charter school with no entrance requirements or tuition necessary for acceptance. All that is required of an applicant is that they live in the current Tulsa Public Schools district at the time of enrollment. Valid proof of address is required at this stage, but is not needed at the time the application is filled out.
Admission to TSAS
Each year, TSAS admits 75 6th graders and a smaller amount in grades 7-12 based on attrition. If we get more than the allotted number of applications for a grade, we hold a random lottery. TSAS has had enough applicants to constitute a lottery every year of our existence. The only students given preference in the lottery are siblings of current TSAS students. Applicants who don’t get an immediate spot via the lottery will go on the waiting list for each grade.

How to Apply
The application process for TSAS, for grades 6-12 is closed but we are still accepting applications for the waiting list.
Applications must be done in person at TSAS. We are NOT part of the TPS unified enrollment process, so our name will not show up in the computer if you try to register online or at the TPS enrollment center. All TSAS applications must take place at TSAS in person. The application process takes about 5 minutes to complete.
