I was raised in Oklahoma and have lived in Tulsa for over a decade now. My wife and I have one rescue critter, a mischievous long-hair dachshund, Harvey. I’ve had a lifelong affinity for songwriting, mostly alternative/indie and americana. Earlier this year I embarked on a small audio electronics repair business, specialized in building and restoration of vacuum tube amplifiers. I’m continuing to expand into a broader array of electronics repair and will be pursuing an Electrical/Electronics Engineering Technologist program at OSU IT this Fall. When my nose isn’t to the grindstone, I enjoy the outdoors, gardening/landscaping, and road trips to visit our State/National Parks.
I believe that education at its core should be liberating and it’s with that notion I began my journey in special education a decade ago. At TSAS, it is my mission to continue building upon an inclusive special education program and to empower our most exceptional young people to achieve their post-secondary goals through pathways that lead to meaningful careers and economic independence.
