Biographical Info
Dr. Wilson is a licensed professional counselor – supervisor with 10+ years of experience in higher education and Behavioral Intervention Team (BIT) engagement. The Snr. Clinical Coordinator at Northeastern State University – a Native-serving and military-friendly institution – Dr. Wilson oversees clinic workflow, client care, EHR software, and the onboarding, development and placement of mental-health staff across the University.
Dr. Wilson has provided clinical guidance to counselors-in-training at the undergraduate, graduate and Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate stages of development for 6 years. She also has 7+ years of experience in higher education policy development, implementation and internal report writing.
Dr. Wilson is trained in TF-CBT and EMDR which serve her expertise in trauma, crisis intervention, emerging SMI and anxiety-related disorders. She is currently the program Faculty Lecturer at the University of Oklahoma (OU) of the Professional Counseling (M. Ed) program in the department of Educational Psychology.
