Biographical Info
Chip is the Director of Education at Discovery Lab. He has held senior leadership roles in museums and science centers in Pennsylvania, Oregon, and Texas. At each, he enjoyed bridging the strength of museum, free-choice learning to the formal system of schools. Chip resides in the TSAS Owen Park neighborhood where he and his wife, Kaye, enjoy building gardens and keeping bees. He received his B.S. Biology from Texas A&M, a M.Ed. in Research and Collaboration from TCU, and an Informal Learning Certificate from the UC Santa Cruz Center for Informal Learning and Schools. His volunteer service includes serving on the Conference Planning Committee of the Association of Science and Technology Centers, the Program Committee of the Tulsa Regional STEM Alliance, and Committee Chair for the North Tulsa STEM Hub.
