When I am not teaching, I am learning! My favorite thing to do is learn a new hobby or about something new. I love reading, hiking, rowing, board games, baking and cooking something new. Also, I have a dog named Brie who loves to explore- so taking her on a hike is definitely my favorite hobby!
I teach because I want to show students how fun science can be! Teaching allows me to encourage students on their science learning journey and support them as they gain interest and knowledge in the wonderful world of STEM. I strive to have a classroom that students feel empowered to ask as many questions as they want and dive into whatever facet of science intrigues them the most. I was lucky enough to have teachers that fostered my passion for STEM and I’m here to do the same for my students!
