I love the community here at TSAS and I am looking forward to learning more about this organization. I am a parent of two amazing teenagers and one fur baby. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, traveling, listening to music, watching tv, and arts and crafts.

I’m the mother of 2 beautiful girls (16 and 1) and I’m the first one in my family to get a college degree, and I’m the only female out of 6 siblings. I love the outdoors, but my favorite place to visit is the ocean. This is my 10th year at TSAS, and I love the environment of our school, the teachers and students are one of a kind.

I work with our kids because the best part of my job is seeing the students evolve into young adults!

I do the work I do because I love it. I enjoy being in the role of facilitating help to/for others.

I’m Laura, and I’m so glad to be part of the TSAS family! I live in Jenks with my husband, son, and two very silly pit/boxer rescue babies named Sprite and Cola. I also have five adult children/step-children who are scattered throughout the Midwest.

Some of my interests are St. Louis Cardinal baseball, reading, napping, eating cereal, watching TV and movies with my family, listening to all kinds of music, and playing my viola when I feel inspired. Music is a very important part of my life. I played viola professionally for many years, thanks to my dedicated parents and a strong music education.

I am also passionate about human rights and equality in all areas of life. A few of my heroes are Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Thich Nhat Hanh, and Michelle Obama.
