The PTSA is the Tulsa School of Arts and Sciences Parent Teacher and Student Association.
The Next PTSA meeting will be on October 9, 2012 at 7 pm at TSAS. Everyone is welcome!
WANTED! – Parent volunteers to help with Lunch Bunch. Breakfast and Lunch are now served in the cafeteria. We need parents to help be cashiers and oversee that students get the required parts of their meal. If you have your food handlers license that would be great but if you don’t that is okay. Breakfast is served from 7Am to 8Am and lunch volunteers would need to be there at 11:30 until 12:30. The main slots we need help with are Wednesday and Thursday mornings from 7-8 AM and Lunch on Tuesdays and Fridays from 11:30 to 12:30. Upcoming Events: Serenade Night! We need help in all aspects of this event. Including at least 20 volunteers the day of (Nov 3rd) to help set up, man the tables and take tickets, check out and clean up. We will need people in shifts from 3 or 4 pm that day until 10 pm. We have some people working on obtaining donations. Please contact Genny Williams before you go after a donation to make sure we haven’t already asked that business and to provide you an Ask letter. genny_w1@hotmail.com
Annual Appeal – If you haven’t already, please donate what you can to TSAS. Our goal is to have 100% participation this year. Every little bit counts! Especially this year since we have a matching grant with the Tulsa Community Foundation. See the link on the homepage to make a fast and easy donation.
Volunteer Hours – Did you help with the renovation and move this summer? Do you volunteer at Lunch Bunch? Do you volunteer in any way to support the school? Then don’t forget to record your volunteer hours! There is a link in the upper right hand corner to record these online.
We would love to see more parent participation at the monthly meeting. Feel free to review the past minutes below so you can feel up to date to attend the next meeting and JUMP RIGHT IN! We are open to any suggestions for fundraising, teacher apprecation, school/student support.
