What is TSAS?
TSAS is a highly innovative, relational charter school that serves students grades 6-12. We were founded in 2001 as the first charter school for secondary students in Tulsa. TSAS is a public charter school with no entrance requirements or tuition necessary for acceptance. At the same time, TSAS is a very different kind of school when compared to other public schools, magnet schools, private schools, and virtual schools.

All questions can be directed via email to info@tsas.org. To schedule a TSAS person to come speak to your group, reach out to our Community Development Director at dsharples@tsas.org. For specific questions about 6th grade, please email our Middle School Principal at dhahn@tsas.org.
Admission to TSAS
Each year, TSAS admits 75 6th graders and a smaller amount in grades 7-12 based on attrition. If we get more than the allotted number of applications for a grade, we hold a random lottery. TSAS has had enough applicants to constitute a lottery every year of our existence. The only students given preference in the lottery are siblings of current TSAS students. Applicants who don’t get an immediate spot via the lottery will go on the waiting list for each grade.
