Dear TSAS students, families, and friends,
We all know what a great job TSAS does every year on a shoestring budget. This brochure reminds us of our and your success stories. We should all be proud.

We’re writing to you because we have a serious challenge. Our appeal to you this year is very simple. The state budget cuts have put our school in a dire financial situation.
Although the state budget situation changes almost weekly, our state income has currently been cut 7% and we received a letter from the State Department of Education warning of additional reductions if the legislature makes no changes.
| Original Budget | With current 7% Cuts | With Potential 10% Cuts | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Total State Budget | $1,271,348 | $1,182,354 | $1,144,213 |
| Shortfall | $88,994 | $127,135 | |
| Shortfall per student | $324 | $462 |
We need your help
For TSAS to continue providing excellent courses with small class sizes, we must raise enough money to cover the shortfall. Period.
Please consider what TSAS has meant and continues to mean to our families and to our community. We have already raised $17,000 from TSAS Board members and several alumni families. We need to keep this momentum going. Please, consider adopting a current student ($300) or even two students ($600). Contributions may be made by check (mailed to TSAS and made out to TSASFAE), or credit card through PayPal. Every contribution counts.
Sincerely,
Gina Briggs, President, TSAS Board of Trustees
John Connelly, President, TSAS Foundation for Academic Excellence
