Dates for Shadowing visits are filling up fast! All of the December dates have already been reserved, so hurry up and schedule your visit today.
TSAS is looking for one of a kind students, just like you, to join our academic community. Participating in Shadowing and an Open House are two great opportunities to get more information.
Shadowing
We will have student shadowing beginning December 4th on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays until February 13th. Shadowing lasts from 8:00 am- 12:15 pm and includes three 70 minute classes and lunch. To schedule your student, email shadow@tsas.org or call the school at 918-828-7727 and someone will contact you to schedule your student.
Each student’s shadowing schedule is created to suit their individual interests. In order to try and build the best schedule for your child, please choose a first and second choice from the following list Algebra, Physics, Drawing, Spanish, Computer Applications, Theater, French, Drama, Jazz, Photography, Orchestra, or Java.
Open Houses
- OPEN HOUSES are scheduled for Tuesday, December 18,2012 and Thursday, January 24, 2013 from 6:30-8:00 pm. This is a great opportunity for parents to see the facilities and meet the teachers. Parents and students are welcome.
About TSAS
- We are a school of choice, with a college preparatory curriculum. We offer a range of AP classes, plus visual arts, jazz band, orchestra, photography, drama, musical theatre, and a health and fitness program from the Thornton YMCA. TSAS does not offer athletics, transportation, and does not have a dedicated special education teacher on staff.
- TSAS is a free, public charter school, sponsored by Tulsa Public Schools. Since we are relatively small, our staff and our student body all know each other. We are able to work more closely with individual students to help them towards better understanding and comprehension. We endeavor to make the curriculum challenging in order to better prepare our students for success at the university level.
