Tulsa School of Arts and Sciences is proud to announce that Dr. Dennis Shoemaker has been hired as director for the 2010-2011 school year. Dr. Shoemaker worked with the school in 2009 as an interim director and will be leading the school in a new capacity this year. As director, Dr. Shoemaker is responsible for the overall supervision of the school particularly in financial matters and strategic planning. Eric Doss was hired as principal in June and will oversee the day-to-day operations of the school.
This change comes as a direct result of the strategic planning process that was undertaken in the 2009-2010 school year. These new roles will allow the school to continue the tradition of excellence that TSAS is known for and to help move the school to even greater success in the future.
